Star Light Star bright,
The first star I see tonight,
I wish I may, I wish I might,
Have the wish I wish tonight.

 

Growing up as a child at Raven Lake, I remember sitting on the dock at night with my sisters and our friends from the neighbouring cottage. The boy next door would lay on the dock looking up at the sky and talk to us about the stars. Boy, did we think he was nerdy!
 
Years later, I find that this is a great way to pass an evening at the cottage, and the stars and satelites are particularly vibrant in the winter months when there are very few lights on anywhere.
